So yesterday a girl replied to one of my threads acting as though she was top dog of threads or somethin'. She was saying I grave dug one of my old post ,which actually is the only post I have. It was about Valve pets and how the staff should make some one day. It was posted in July and yesterday I posted a reply saying that they could do that if they wanted. After that point I couldn't even reply to that ,because it was 'locked' ... What ever that means. What a nice thing to wake up to. *heavy Sarcasm*

Old threads aren't really supposed to be dug up, though suggestions can be. But your suggestion is basing a pet off an existing Books/Games/Films.

They have to be careful when basing pets off things, because the staff and CS could get in trouble.

The warrior cats for eg were warrior cats, but now are classed as Sitting Cats, because of copyright. Also a bunch of our horses and ponies had to be redrawn or transferred to the current lines, because the really old lines were traced.
I believe the Shima foxes are meant to be getting changed too for the same reason. (Don't quote me on that though)

Locking is also done (by mods etc) so stop a thread being posted on. like when a thread reaches 900 pages a mod will lock it and someone will have already created a linked to the new thread for people to use. Some threads however can be locked for reason like rule breaking, spam, or are just requesting to be locked or the question etc has been answered

I posted on your thread because I had information to give. There are no pets based on Sonic, so I commented that. And because the thread was months old and did not have any more reason to be discussed (since CS won't make pets on copyrighted material), it was locked by a staff member. If you take offense on a simple comment, well, that's too bad. I was not rude and I did nothing wrong. I was just telling you what I knew.

Ah, I see. Excuse me for not being aware of this, I could have known at the time but now my mind is a blank. You might see why I wouldn't recognize them as being based on a particular, well, anything, as the designs are pretty basic. In that case I apologize, but as for the gravedigging and what I assume was considered spam, that was out of my power.
