Nice experiment, I find it quite an interesting idea.
As for me, it means number.



But I accidentally clicked hashtag instead, so that's works too.

The reason pound sign isn't on there is because I don't know what it is...I'm guessing it's an alternate way of writing £ or lbs.

Please don't confuse these....

An English Pound (a unit of currency) has very little to do with lbs (a unit of weight) and while the symbol for lb is the same, it should not be confused with the pound key on a phone. They are three completely different words with completely different meanings even though they sound and are spelled the same.

Using the symbol as hashtag has only started being used very very recently. As in, the past 5 years.

I know they are very different, and wasn't confusing them. I was saying that I did not know which one of those two things the term 'pound sign' refered too.
