Has anyone else been in a writing rut before? Like a really unnervingly deep rut? Because I've had this dilemma for over a year now and I can't seem to shake it off.

I have some ideas in my head that I personally think are really good but I can't get a single sentence out onto paper. And even when I do manage to bust a few sentences out, I end up hating it and giving up on the entire thing for the day.

I dunno. I think I compare myself to other writers too much and that's what's keeping me down.

like... i totally support the use of carmex and all but like... do they need to use it in public? they should keep their chapstick use to their bathroom, not the public
