My muse for rping completely died, and I reallyreally want to respond to the rps I'm in. ._. Sigh.

If I'm concerned, I'll ask for one or put them on a three day trial period. I don't like having rp sample in the form, because they might be tricky and put their very best work in, but then be crappy for most of the roleplay. Anyway, I have a fairly detailed form, so that should shoo away the worse of the noobs.

What about accept them anyway and continue the RP. Also state in your rules 'Paragraphs Only'
Every time they break this rule, it's a warning. Depending on how many warnings they get, they could get kicked off the RP.

I do have a sentence minimum. That scares noobs away. I might upgrade it to lines though.

That is also true. I am pretty patient with the minimum though as long as they are roleplaying pretty well.

What's wrong with names from a book?! o.O I bet you, OUR real names are in books!
They can't tell you to not use names from a darn book!

people have that rule so that they dont try and copy characters from the book, id be like a gary sue to choose to become firestar in a warriors rp. But if they didnt know the name was used in the book or just forgot then the user could have atleast told them to change the name.

As long as the character isn't like the actual character you took the name from, there should be no reason not to accept you. I'm sure my name is in a book somewhere.

i think my name is too rare and diffrent to be in a book, ive never heard of anyone else with my name.

I agree. Even the name Tess is seen in books, such as Charlie St.Cloud.

On this topic, there was a rp I was in a long time ago. It was Warriors, and at first I loved it. Then the owner was acting weird, hinting about a bunch of other cat's dying. I kept to myself and my favorite rp partner in that rp. Then the owner announces we're 'doing it by the books', and that all leaders, deputies, medicene cats, and any cats not in the book must die. Me having, three OC'S counters that you can't just kill of someone's charries. That's where hatred started. So, she made everyone but me take a Canon, rp it, and ignore me. My rp buddy still kept with me, but it was ugly. Now I realize I could've reported her for theft, since she was following and rping the events of the novels.
