Not sure if this is just bad luck speaking or something, but I've been trying to find a semi-lit (or higher) rp for about half an hour now and I still have yet to see one. D8 Guhfff.

The fact that I feel like I have no motive, no inspiration, nothing; to reply and post on my roleplays. It makes me sad when I type up pathetic posts, or even lose interest half way through and ex out of the tab in which I'm writing on.
I believe it's because of the unoriginal characters and plots, so hopefully my one on one roleplay will calm me enough for me to think straight, and actually post like I could before.
It also seems I'm becoming increasingly worse with roleplaying quad animals.

Okay, tails are not "brushes" or "tassles." Ears are not "auds."

Some people call it "Para" and they think it's cool to use it. And they think that people who don't use it are noobs/losers. Irking as ever.

Plus people in roleplays who have a "Holier than thou" attitude.

Oh good lord, wolfspeak. D8 I'm fine with it if it's sparse and flows well with the overall post, but I hate it when people post like this:
"The wolf stopped in her tracks, auds flickering, pools transfixed on the ground, banner flowing slightly in the wind."

This! When I used to roleplay warrior cats and such, I had the same exact problem. I get bored halfway through a post with unoriginal characters, and don't reply. You put your finger right on it; it is because people aren't original enough to make original characters anymore... *sigh*

I don't have the problem anymore, though xD I don't usually roleplay WC anymore.

Warriors RPs just got too... identical. The same thing seems to happen in every one of them. Dark Forest attacks, evil Clans, evil cats, cats coming back from the dead through another cat, etc.

The things with Warrior cat RPs is that it's hard to come up with an original plotline. Let's face it, nothing exciting goes on in a forest. Other than prophecies and whatnot. And with prophecies, there comes an easy chance of godmodding.

And also, it's hard to come up with enough members. Most people make the unfortunate decision of having all four Clans open; trust me, you will not get enough people. It turns out to be two or three people in each Clan (built mainly of leader, deputy and medicine cat) and then you just wander around aimlessly, with no one to interact with.

I do see people try, though. They come up with this whole system of Clans, seasons, prophecies...there's just not many opportunities for originality in Warrior cat RPs.

...I'm a Warrior cat fan, though, so I'm certainly not hating. Erin Hunter is one of my role models. <3
