When someone starts an auction and then never returns(yet they still get on every day) The least they could do is close the auction or something. I mean really, I finally pulled my offer out of an auction nearly three months after it was created and the person running it never came back to update or anything even though they seriously got on every single day.

I tend to get onto users that do that. It's just not right, and they know it.

The fact that no matter how many times I say "stop putting up spammy conversations/arguments with your daemon" on TDU... PEOPLE KEEP DOING IT.

I know you think everything your daemon says is comedic gold, but most of us really don't care you had a witty "fight" over which flavor of pop tart to have for breakfast. I really wish people's daemons in that thread would just stfu. Seriously, some people HAVE to put stupid anecdotes from their daemon in every post on TDU and it bugs me to no end.

I've told people to knock it off because it's spam and if enough spam accumulates, the mods will lock it (See: Fursona Zoo thread) and they still think it's cute to put up every damn thing their daemon says. I'm so close to having a mod go over there and tell people to cut it out, just to scare them straight. Because obviously the head of the club can't do it. >.>

How many people actually know (without looking it up, just offhand) what the other freedoms in that same article are, anyway? My take is: if you can't name those other two freedoms, don't use the "freedom of speech" excuse.

Though freedom of speech doesn't protect as much as people think it does. Having the freedom to say it has nothing to do with how people will react to it.

That's probably the hole with freedom of speech. Usually when people pull the "freedom of speech" card it means "I have the right to talk and you have the right to stfu" Which is why I don't get it when people pull it. Double standards ftl.
