i really, really wanted to skip art class this morning because i didn't sleep well last night. i somehow persuaded myself to roll out of bed and go, but it turned out the professor was late. 20 minutes later he still wasn't there so i was going to head back to my dorm, but he showed up just as i was about to walk.
the kicker is that, if i had never gone to class in the first place, i'd still have an excused absence since he was so late.
