What do you generally prefer - small, user-run adoption agencies on bigger forums, like many lovely user-run adoption species here on CS, or standalone games, that allow you to register and collect pets on your account, but dont have many more functions\arent really unique (aka Dragon Cave clones with all sorts of species)? Which do you prefer and why?
Im torn on my own opinion on that matter.
Forum adoption agencies are far more social, include more interaction between users and allow more freedom of art (like adding equipable items to pets, or putting them in cages\houses can easily be done by simply combining images). They do not have the functions they could have on separate game, like automatic explore, adoption, and breeding. They have to be processed manually by the owner of the forum adoptables. But in turn, they are much more personalised with individual breeding outcomes being unique, which is impossible on standalone games. So I cannot give a certain answer what I personally think on that matter, because both systems have their pros and cons.
And what do other players think?
