I do not support the slaughtering of entire packs, the killing of pups or the killing of female wolves that can reproduce and keep the population in check.

And, if there are too many wolves, there won't be a lot of deer and/or Elk, which leads to the environment being out of order.

If there is no more food left, then your precious wolfies will starve to death. Would you rather have their deaths quicker and painless then have them die slowly?

Because it's needed! There are too many wolves and the population must be cut down.

Seconded. I'm as much of a wolf nut as anybody but there does need to be population control for the sake of the environment. I'd oppose wiping them out entirely, but a complete cull and population control are very different things.

And, in the nicest way possible, spamming a forum with "save teh wulfs!" is going to be about as much use as a catflap on a submarine.
