✿Sylvanian families and Calico Critters✿

This are a brand of very tiny and very cute flocked animal figures originating in Japan but sold world wide. The name depends on the country you live in. This little darlings are sold as family units (but not always) there are also a line of house, shops, building, recreational scenes, vehicles, and accessories to collect. There are many families and characters who live in a small town called Cloverleaf Corners to collect.
Though quite expensive for such small toys, I think they are just the cutest things EVER! Does anybody else collect them or had any growing up? Anybody seen them in stores but pasted them up?

My god, my sister had these when she was younger! She had a house, slide & Tree swing and a Canal boat, as well as a family a one extra creature if I remember. They are cool though.

When I was younger I had loads of them! I think I had a couple of different houses for them and I remember having a canal boat for them and a large table for everything but that could have been for something else... I can't remember much since it was so long ago
I also remember going round to a family friend's house and she had one of those really big houses for them all, every time we left I would beg and beg for my dad to buy me a similar one but since it was so expensive I never got one. I don't think I minded all that much though since I was more into dinosaurs XD
Unfortunately we lost/gave away most of them as my sister and I became older. We still have a couple left and my three year old sister plays with them.

I had way over £3000 worth, including the limited edition hotel, cottage and the limited edition caravan and school...I liked the limited edition stuff! I gave them away last year to my sisters friend.

I found a seller on my local craigslist who's willing to sale me a shoe box filled with a few critters and accessories.

Looks like Sophie's play n care set, the milky mouse family with all the family's clothes, Greta Furbank with dress and the buttercup cattwins. One of the hands of the adult mice has been chewed off but I don't mind i'll put it in a sling and bandage and he'll just have a boo boo.

Where is the rest of Greta's family? The world may never know

Greta's family, her uncle is in the bakery, sister Saffron is limited edition, and Aunt/Cousin in the ballet set.
