I buy CDs.
I'd rather have it just in case something happens to my iPod or iTunes account, I can always put the songs back on to it.
I also buy CDs so I can listen to songs I like, instead of listening to streaming music which constantly plays the same songs over and over, and if you want to hear the song again, you can't hit a replay button. On CDs however, you can replay the song you've just listened to and if you're tired of one CD, you can exchange it for another and listen to that one.
I also buy CDs due to them (most of the time) having something extra such as a poster, autographs, maybe even some sort of clothing inside (at least some sort of extra or "prize").
I enjoy getting extra things, but I buy CDs for a more important reason, it's to finacially support the bands and singers I listen to. Most people don't know this, but a wide majority of bands would and have made more profit off of CDS rather than iTunes. CDs tend to be more expensive than songs and albums on iTunes, but that's how the bands/singers/musicians get their money to support themselves. A song off iTunes usually cost $0.99 to a little over a dollar, and albums may cost some where around $9.99 and a little over. CDs cost around $13 and up. Because of this most people won't buy them, but if they add that 'extra' (poster, autograph(s), clothing, etc.) it draws more attention to it for people to buy it.
So if you really want to support your favourite bands, singers, musicians, etc., buy CDs.
(Buying merch. from them helps too.)
Not as active due to work - On for commissions - PMs will be answered at a later time - Thanks.

I guess it all depends? Like, if it's a musician I really care for I will both to support them and so I can have a copy to listen to in the car, but if the musician is a really deplorable person, no.

This is valid, and I do this too. There is a musician, for example, who is an outspoken racist, whose beliefs often align with the neonazi movement, but whose music I really like. I would never support him financially and have no problem ripping him off by just listening to his music on YouTube.

I usually buy CDs and then copy the music onto my computer so I can listen to them even if I don't have the physical copy on me. Plus, I still own quite a few old radios that I like to blast the music on repeat.

Yes, I do. I haven't bought one for a while, but I prefer physical things. I buy physical books, not ebooks. I buy DVDs, rather then watch the film over and over on netflix. I buy physical games, rather than eshop downloads or what have you. I guess that I like the thought of being able to resell my CD so that someone else can appreciate the music and enjoy it like I have.

Meh, I usually download them from their sites, but I like having the physical copy around. I mean, I listen to the CD's yeah!

I recently bought My Chemical Romance and The Beasty Boys... so yeah, I buy 'em!

I still buy CD's, but only when I have the money for it or I ask for them as gifts for holidays. I have a huge CD collection, as well as my parents' old vinyl collection as well. There's nothing better than physical copies really, that holds the most sentimental value over any digital copy. c:

I don't bother with cd's. I never have been all that bothered by them

Note for trades and PM's, I leave my CS tab open almost all the time for easy access. I am online but I'm not actively looking at the tab all day <3
Please don't message me asking if I'm selling or trading Closed species characters. If I haven't said otherwise? The answer is no.

Generally, I don't buy CD's. I just download music instead. I find that much easier. It's also better for my because I'm such a clumsy person I always scratch and break CD's c:
Been off CS for a longgg while, trade me if you feel like it x
