A dark horse is someone who is not expected to do well. She says that she knows a guy will come to her, but then she says that she is coming at him like a dark horse? That makes no sense? She doesn't think she can get this guy but she says that she...Am I just missing something here?
Pop music just comes across as the same formulaic, generic stuff about being in love and going to parties. Maybe i'm just negative because I don't do either of those two things. But I prefer music that's real, not this generic pop stuff. I like dubstep because it's not pretending to be something it's not, if that makes sense. Pop artists like Katy Perry seem to just put on an act. A lot of pop music doesn't have any truth behind it to me anymore.
I think the reason I chose that song in particular was not the lyrics, but the beat and use of instuments. It sounds quite unique and I actually have an instumental version of Dark Horse on my Ipod.
