Music and its quality.

This may just be the unpopular opinion puffin in me talking, but I don't think music is going downhill as fast as you all make it out to be.

Sure, there are plenty of kinda annoying singers like Bieber, and pitchy vocals like One Direction and Train. But with every bad song there exists a good jam to balance things out. For every Little Things by One Direction, there is a Happy by Pharrell Williams or a Pompeii By Bastille you could listen to instead. If you block out every bad song you hear there it still a good selection of modern songs to listen to.

Personally I love these ones:

Safe And Sound - Capital Cities
Counting Stars - One Republic

I completely agree. Human minds have been wired to recognise patterns, especially in music. Humans have evolved with music, entwined with the worldwide melodies of voices from every ethnicity. We are music, and music is in our blood, if that makes sense. Imagine a world without music. It would be impossible. Music is all around us, and that's the beauty of it. We have even learned to connect with it through movement, i.e. dancing! Humans + music = incredible things.

The trouble is, the bad outweighs the good. My opinion is that most of the songs nowadays are literally about like 3 things: youknowwhat, drugs and alchohol.
But I agree, those songs are good especially Counting Stars
