Fact. Fantasy. Are they the same thing? I think yes.

I know this is going to sound totally crazy, but I believe that there are things in this Universe that are real, that have been dismissed as fantasy for most of Time. In my eyes, the world we live in is so much more then what we see in our everyday lives. It's so much stranger. So much more wonderful, magical. And dangerous. The thing with mankind is we only see what we want to see when we want to see it. Only hear what we want to hear. You know? There are other worlds layered within our own, and beyond, just out of our sight. And when we see it, we just say, "That's not real. It's just an illusion. Just someone in a costume." But is that really the case? I don't think so. Most of the time at least. There's more to the world then meets the eye. So much more. And people have seen it. Or not, but they still believe. I have the most normal life anyone could imagine. Nothing eventful really ever happens. Nothing out of the ordinary. But I still believe that there is more to this Universe. Things that are in movies, books, and TV shows could be more true then we realize. It's easy to make people believe that something isn't real just by slapping a big sticker on it that says:

"FANTASY"

Other times it's harder to convince someone to believe that something isn't real even though it's right in front of them. We are those stubborn people. And we rule at it.

4. If you believe something in a show/movie is real please put in parenthesis what that show/movie is.
5. You don't need evidence to back up your claim, (LOL I almost said "To back up your clam"!) you just need to believe.

I don't believe the "we don't see it because we don't want to" theory. At the most, it would only apply to some people in the world. I am a very logical yet open-minded person; I do not dismiss the idea of aliens or unicorns or the Loch Ness Monster because no one has been able to prove that they DON'T exist. I've had my fair share, and maybe even more, of strange experiences. I believe that ghosts exist because I've seen them, and no one can prove to me that I haven't.

Some things seem to me to have a higher possibility of existing than others, due to media, history, and my own logic and experiences. For example, I'm not inclined to believe dragons exist, at this point. Depending on the type of dragon from a specific culture or point in history, most of them are rather large and hard to miss. There are people all over this planet and we have satellite imaging that is extremely accurate, so I feel at this point, we would have discovered dragons if there were any to be found. Or perhaps they just died out a long time ago. Who knows?

Overall, I think I take a more reserved viewpoint on this, managing to be both more open-minded than people who outright deny the existence of such things without any evidence to speak of, and more logical than fantasy fanatics who claim the existence of outrageous beings that, again, we have no evidence for.

I believe that aliens are real. It's a big Universe, so how could there not be other life? My Whovianizim really has no effect on that. I personally believe that characters and settings from shows and movies are real either on other planets or in a different plane of reality or even in this world and they're just very good at staying hidden. Who knows? I don't but I still believe.
