Things That Amaze You

Hi!

So, I've seen several discussion threads similar to this one (Things That Annoy You, Things That Amuse You, Etc.).
So I figured, why not make a thread about things that amazed people?

There are some pretty fascinating things in the world, whether they're man-made, or not.
This thread is created so people can discuss those things.

Some things that you can talk about could be:

~ Architecture - possibly the kind built by hand, and not by machine

~ Some inventions and scientific discoveries

~ Art - paintings, sketches, frescoes, etc.

~ Animals and their evolutions/adaptations

~ Anything else!

However, there shouldn't be any hateful/spiteful posts.
To elaborate, posts containing spite against a certain person or group of people should not be posted.

Basically, nothing negative.
For example, do not make posts like:

~ "I can't believe that some people don't like (band name/celebrity/author/etc.)!"

~ "It amazes me how mean some people can be."

And so on.

Yeah, I had tadpoles when I was in Kindergarten.
I just watched them grow legs and then become tiny little adorable munchkins! ^ ^

I am amazed by metamorphosis.
Those little butterflies are magic. ;u;
They turn into liquid and come back as a butterfly.

Metamorphosis in itself is incredible. One thing turns into another, totally different thing.
Nature fascinates me.

I'm amazed by the art made in the Renaissance. Those paintings are spectacular, and those statues...

Im amazed with Squirrels there is so many always out where i live and there is two of them that are always fighting over a nut and its funny when they do.

Honestly, I'm amazed by the fact that only 2% of redwood trees grew from seeds.

All the rest are/were clones of other trees.
