This can also kill the little guys that live in your eyelashes and increases your odds of infection.

Vaseline is actually not acid, and is harmless. It can actually protect these little guys.

It's basically petroleum jelly and it was discovered as the gunk on an oil rig. (It is obviously now a lot cleaner.)
It's a good rememdey for ticks on your pets, just bung Vaseline into its breathing holes and volia! One dead tick! :)

I'm not sure if this is a fact..

It's more of a life hack!

My friend and I discovered that if you're dealing with a tricky lid (perhaps on a jar of pickles, or salsa in our case), it will open easier and faster if you heat the rim of the lid with fire! (Please use a lighter. xD)

Not sure if that's been discovered, but we sure learned from experience!

Yeah, it's been discovered. It's got something to do with the particle theory of matter, you can also just run it under hot water.

Some cosmetic facts

The first nail polish was invented in China in 3000 B.C. Unlike the formula today, the original version was a mixture of beeswax, gum, egg whites and colored powder.

Neon nail polish is illegal in the United States. While many brands have "neon" shades, their colors do not possess the true neon colorant. Neon within nail polish is not approved by the FDA, thus you’re most likely to find a real neon nail polish in other countries.

It snows metal on the planes Venus.

In the Lion King, Scar's previous name was Taka, which meant 'garbage' or 'waste' in Swahili.

On average, cats sleep about two thirds of every day. If you do the math, it means your 9-year-old kitty has slept away about six years of life.

In the Lion King, most of the characters names mean something basic or simple about them in Swahili. Simba means 'lion', Mufasa means 'king', and Shenzi means 'barbaric'. In addition Kovu, Scar's son in Lion King 2, means 'scar'.

If every cat in the world gathered together and meowed at the same time, the sound would be equivalent to one hundred to two hundred airplanes taking off at once.

Smilodon Populator is quite possibly the largest feline known, with a shoulder height of 47 inches, and a body mass of 490 to 880 pounds.

did you know that palindrome isn't spelled palindrome backwards.
but emordnilap is a word that can be read differently if put forwards or backwards.
so basically palindrome is an emordnilap palindrome.

I believe they are the largest feline actually known. Surprisingly, the possible ancestor of all cats is 17 inches smaller than the Smilodon.

African Wild Cats, the possible ancestor of all cats, have a body length of 20 to 30 inches, with an additional tail length of 8 to 13 inches.

(The African Wild Cat is the species from which domestic cats were developed. These cats were first domesticated in Egypt about 4,000 years ago.)
