These are both wrong, ligaments in your eyes stopping this are very strong, I think it's so the tiny blood vessels don't burst from too high a pressure, but I don't know if I'm right. And convection currents, as the water goes cold it sinks to the bottom, and the cold ocean currents are deeper than the warm ones. (If it was the other way round the UK would have a climate similar to Scandinavia and Canada, which I don't as right now it's a nice 14C/57F out here!)

Actually, we say "bless you" because during the days of the bubonic plague in Europe, a pope (I forget which one) issued an edict that all Catholics must say blessings after every sneeze/cough/etc. so that god would prevent them from getting the black death.

My fact: Elizabeth I of England was a King, not a Queen, as the title is referring not to gender but to role.
Similarly Cleopatra, Nefertiti, and Hatshepsut were Pharaohs, but they all wore false beards and were treated as men. ^^
Speaking of ancient Egypt, Egyptian royalty had normal-sized ears. They were portrayed with large ears to symbolically represent that they could hear the will of the people; the larger the ears, the more they were loved- at least by the artist.
