did you know that only around 10% of fossils in the entire world have been found so far? thats 90% we have yet to find... maybe some creatures we don't even now about!!!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but:
In order to know how many fossils have yet to be found, we have to know how many fossils there are to find in total, and in order to find out how many there are to find in total, we have to find all of them first. Which is a bit of a paradox, so essentially wouldn't we never know the percentage of fossils we've found and have yet to find? Even when we do have found every fossil, we'll never know we've found all of them unless we dig up the entire earth or develop better technology (something that can X Ray the entire Earth maybe, lol).
