Just last night, I had two friends over for some drinks and to watch movies. As one of them starts drawing some anthro art, I began to realize how many people I know offline that are involved in some fashion with furries. I hope to actually share what he drew for me, if I ever get a scanner... or if I can take a photo of them instead. XD
Thus, I would like to strike up a conversation/discussion!
How many people would you know from the furry community, or those interested in anthropomorphic art, if it wasn't for the internet?
My answer would be 2, bordering on 3.
One of them is an artist, who draws alot of anthropomorphic art. Most of it is wolves, though he did take up the challenge and drew a Dikdik and a tree kangroo anthro last night, which was really fun to see. He however does not exactly have a set fursona so to speak, mostly a few wolf characters from his comic he identifies with.
Then there is my other friend, a 'cat boy' who enjoys nothing more then wearing cat ears and a tail. He owns a collar, mews quite a bit, and even owns a 'Furry Anonymous' t-shirt. However, he doesn't draw and strangely enough doesn't have a 'set' fursona either then what he dress up with.
The only other one I would count, is a friend of mine who loves anthropomorphic art. He mostly enjoys the anatomy and creativity of some of the pictures he finds. He is well studied in biology, and thus likes anatomical correct nature of anthros/animals drawings. He usually enjoys seeing my art, and helping to point out and give advice on some of my anatomical errors.
