What are pokemon really? Creatures from a game that resemble animals. In my mind, that fits the theme of a fursona just fine. I mean, if a person can have a winged horned tiger or a mix between a dragon and a wolf, why not a pokemon? ^^

I don't really have an opinion. The novelist inside me tells me that they should come up with an original design,but there are entire books [most of which aren't very good......] that are written as fanfiction. Why shouldn't they be allowed to tailor their fursona after an existing character?

Anyway, in all seriousness, what are your opinions on Poke-Furs (i.e. furs that have pokemon fursonas rather than an original fursona)? Do you support the idea of taking a pokemon, messing with it's design, and calling it your fursona? I honestly don't really have an opinion on the subject yet, so I would like to here yours.

JERRY... You make me so jealous. I want to ride a suicune. I love it! D:< Poke-furs. I've drawn an anthro quilava... does that make you a poke-fur? Drawing anthro pokemon? |D I want a pokesona. But that wouldn't replace Dart.

Speaking of my fursona, Dart... She's a Timber Wolf, but now I kinda want her to be a German Shepherd Dog. I don't know if I want to change her. XD

@Pokemon question,
I really don’t mind it at all. Its the persons way of seeing themselves as a sort of animal, so they should have the right to pick any sort odd creatures. Even if its digimon to pokemon, or even a very common species like the wolf or dragon. I don’t see anything wrong with a 'pokesona'.

I've become friends with a Cubone furry on TDF, and she happens to be very nice and dose not find her pokesona odd or wrong. So why should I judge her chose in her sona?

I remember reading an article about sun bears once, but I don't remember any wrinkle faces. The only thing that was going through my mind the whole time was "D'AWWWWWW, BEARS."
