Cat Fishy wrote:'Nude' anthros? That's like saying "animals should be banned because they don't wear clothes"! What about non-furry fursonas? No one has a problem with 'nude' fursonas. I feel very stereotyped.

I've had to take down a nude anthro (linked with a warning) and I didn't whine. I asked what I could do to keep it up but still adhere to the rules. I suggested censor bars and the mod said that would be fine, but we both agreed it would ruin the drawing and I let them know I would not be reposting it. I haven't put up any tasteful nude anthros since.

It should be fairly obvious (to myself included) that nude anything on a forum with many young members is not a wise idea.

What exactly is a 'nude' anthro? Is it one that's not wearing clothes but the fur covers everything up?

I'm sure they mean explicitly nude. That probably isn't a good idea with so many younger members.

I can't draw clothes for my life, so most of my Anthros are nude. But they don't give any hints to being explicit, not one bit. Though, I can see where it'd be best not to have them up. Nekkid or clothed, one must be careful of content.

Yeah, probably not.
If that's one of the main problems, it's too bad we can't just switch to 18+ chat or something. You've got to admit, n00bs tend to avoid that section of the forums, but in general chat, it's just swarming with them. >.>
Although, I'm not exactly sure if the Furry Thread would qualify as a topic for the 18+ section.

I have just read the whole conversation that took place over the last few pages, and I think it's a fit unfair for a mod to blame for things out of our control. New members come and don't read the rules. There is no way we can possibly force them to do so. The front page explains that we have a zero-tolerance and three strike method of controlling spam. However, if people don't read it THEY should be the ones punished and NOT a thread of people who try their best to stay on topic. But I'm not going to be one of those people who will fight to the death with mods to protect this thread. If it in the CS community's best interest that we are no longer allowed to post here, so be it. All I ask for is a fair trial. If it would make you anymore comfortable, Sorren, I will make this a closed group that you must apply to to get in to. We tried that once before and it did work for a small period of time, but, as I said before, we can't make someone not post here. If you would like us to move this thread to another section (like the 18+ area suggested by Xanre) I would be more than happy to comply. If possible, I would like to have a private conversation with one of the mods to try to sort this whole ordeal out without making this a public debate right here in the thread where everyone can see it. I apologize for the inconvenience of this thread, but I don't still don't see how it is fair to discriminate larger groups on CS rather than smaller ones with more spam.

As for the rest of the furries, I would like to have a group conversation on what we should do if we are kicked out of the CS Community. Please follow the link to the xat IMMEDIATELY.

Funny that you say that. I have seen you spamming, too. And it's not true that it's always a new member who spams.

And as I said before: this topic is getting more and more too explicit (naked anthros with XXL boobs for example). Moving it to the 18+ forum wouldn't make any difference. You have to stay PG-13 there as well.

Well, if you are upset about other topics beeing more spammy, then there is a really quick solution: Report it. We are not all-seeing.

Sorren,

I have just informed the members of this thread that will be moving from CS to our proboards. Quite a sad thing, but no matter. If we can sort this out and move back to CS it would be wonderful, but I understand if we are unwelcome. I would like to continue this conversation through PM if you don't mind.

ALL FURRIES POST HERE NOW

I'm very glad you said it's not just the newbies that spam. The amount of people not taking personal responsibility and just using the newbies as a scapegoat is mindboggling. I have spammed before. I don't post that often, but I've gone off topic when I shouldn't have.

To be on topic regarding this post, and Sorren can clarify, I'm sure all she's asking is for us to put a cap on it. On spam and content. It's not "OMG WE'RE BEING KICKED OUT OF CS EVERYONE HATES US," it's not political exile, it's not martyrdom, nobody's a victim, it's just asking to obey the rules of the forum. Easy as pie.

And please. Stop with the victim act. It's getting old.
