Bump, I hope everyone iis okay from this. Hag, dream on Reading, dream on..... Anyway, I hope that a minimum amount of wildlife, farmlife, strays, and humans are affected by this.

I feel for you guys close to the huge bushfires, we've had such awful weather here that it's making near impossible to control the fires, let alone put them out. During the Black Saturday fires all my friends lived in areas that were in danger and this year one of my friends was in danger zone again and was evacuated several times, thankfully we've learnt a lot from Black Saturday and people are more prepared.

At the moment I'm on advice (can't say the town, but in the Yarra Valley area), I can see and smell smoke. The fire is large-ish and not yet under control but not super close, I'm just hoping it doesn't get any worse or any closer as I cannot leave if told to. The best I can do (and have done) is keep the animals inside and keep updated.
Suppose I'm not as bad off as other Victorian's at least.
