Uggghhhh

So I was planning to go to Comic-Con with a friend of mine.
Last night, I texted her, asking her if she was 100% sure she was going, and to check prices.
She said she was.
So, naturally, I bought a ticket for myself just this morning.
Well, I just got a text saying she can't go.
I already bought my ticket.
My other friends who are going are going on another day.
She said she couldn't go due to money issues, but she said before that she could afford it!
I don't even know if I can be angry at her. I mean, money problems, okay, but you said before that you could do it.
I'm just so annoyed.
My only hope is finding someone else who can go, otherwise I'm not going. I can't go on my own.
Ugghhhh
I probably just wasted $60+, a lot of effort, and still won't get to go.
I just need a hug and to sleep for a few days.

The way I generally get around that problem is by asking everyone for a definitive answer on whether or not we are doing something, then I go ahead and buy everyone's tickets at the same time. I get the money in advance, and they know that if they back out of that commitment, I'll have no respect for them. I let everyone know that if possible, I'll take their ticket to the venue and try to scalp it and reimburse them, but if no one buys it I just don't.
{{I have one friend in particular who this has happened three times with, so she just pays me and doesn't go, as she admits she made a commitment. }

Unfortunately some people don't have a feeling of guild, or they decide to hide it... Ask people to at least TRY to treat you better. And I am sure people on here would help you in a heartbeat.

wow i have to learn 12 different science subjects by friday... for the most important test of my year and its on friday the 13th... I don't think ill pass this test plus i have... another one or two tests that day which on top of my homework i haven't started yet.
