I'm gluten intolerant (tested), lactose intolerant (not tested) and have a whole list of other foods I can't eat because they aggravate my migraine including, citrus, bananas, & pineapple. I've also been cutting out caffeine, nuts, chocolate (trying) and lowering my salt intake in a desperate attempt to stop the chronic headache pain. I may try eliminating more things later.
It's horrid and I miss all my favorite foods I can't eat anymore, especially gluten filled ones and cheese. But if it can bring some relief to me I'm willing to put up with it. It's hard though so I'm still in too much pain to cook or do my own shopping so it's really hard to manage what I eat.
@[cassiopeia] I once heard that people who are allergic to strawberries are also allergic to penicillin but I don't know if it's true or not.
Okay. I have to mostly eat gluten free 'cause my mom's allergic. Anyone got good recipes for dairy-free, gluten-free, soy free, or nut-free foods?
