Different breeds have different temperaments, and every individual dog has a different personality. There's many different sizes, builds, activity levels, etc, so you need to make sure that you pick a dog to match your lifestyle. You can't go and get a Border Collie and leave it locked up in the house all day.

AGREED! I work at an animal shelter, and every different dog has a different persona.
