Things that annoy you

The amount of people on this site, who run around and beg for rares because 'it looks like a pet they recently lost'.

It is one thing to kindly approach someone and ask if they were interested in trading a pet to you, because you'd love to have it to honour a pet.
But when you send someone a trade, most often with a absolutely crap offer and you KNOW it is a lousy offer - or outright ask for the pet for free, and then try to guilt trip the owner of the pet with your trading message?

And same thing for people who do this about art. Barge in on art threads and raise a huge EMOSTORM, trying to get free art or a discount price on the art because the artists feels so guilty.

What the hell people? Yes, losing a pet hurts. I know it hurts, for me it is the WORST pain the world, I get so attached to my pets. But you don't see me running around guilt tripping people about how I just lost a pet and BAWWWWW.

If you want to honour your pet, YOU do the work. Don't guilt trip someone else to do it for you because you are too lazy to get off your ass and work for it.

I once got a PM where someone asked me to give his brother my sun dog because his just randomly disappeared off of his account one day. And they told me how upset he was, and how he was crying over it... etc.

I was like, "...."

And I don't think I ever replied, either.

I find tourists hilarious. Once, I saw an Asian couple rather enthusiastically taking pictures of squirrels. P: I guess I'd be doing the same if I saw a Panda or something. x3

Hehe. I always found it hilarious how people from my own state go gaga when they see cows or deer or something. It's amazing how many people don't see those things that often in NY because they live near a major city where-as I could see both on the same fifteen minute walk from my house, and then some. xD

I hate chat speak. >:( On this one forum I go on, the guidelines say, "Please be nice to new members; we were all new at one time in our lives!" or something like that. Anyways, some people posted, complaining that it was basically just an attack on more literate members, in which they bended the rules for the young rule-breakers, and tightened the noose for the older, more literate, more experienced members (my own metaphor XD). I agreed!

I don't know why people think it's okay to completely BUTCHER the English language. Maybe I'm not one to talk. My literature skills are basically above college level. But... why do people in the US, Canada, and England, and other people who are native of speaking English... do that??? D:

Exactly! I feel very strict about people's grammar, even though its not any of my business and most people just always say to me, "who cares???? i can type anyway i want lol duh"

Just use real English. No one is going to know you well as a person if you use chat speak and not your own proper English.

Something that is bothering me right now--- an essay.

Its supposed to be 1000 words about a science thing that I have to over the summer. Its due in a week and I haven't finished it yet. Essays are annoying because if you don't get anything done (procrastinate) then it just haunts you mind and you just have to get it done, but you don't feel like it.

I honestly cannot understand why people don't make enough of an effort. Now, you look at German or Polish or French or whatever-have-you-and-whatever-their-nationality-is immigrants.... They actually make an effort!!! Because they want to learn.

And some people profess to read so much, but, then, when you look at their stories, their grammar is horrible!!! I always made sure to copy the examples I saw in books, since after a while I noticed that a specific grammar style was used for dialogue style, and such.

It should NOT be this:

"I'm going to fall!" Gingertail screeched. Holding onto the branch with her claws, "I can't hold on!"
"Yes, you can." Snakefang grunted, climbing slowly up the tree, "Just wait up there, I'll be there in a minute!"

It SHOULD be this:

"I'm going to fall!" Gingertail screeched, holding onto the branch with her claws. "I can't hold on!"
"Yes, you can," Snakefang grunted, climbing slowly up the tree. "Just wait up there; I'll be there in a minute!"

Unfortunately, too many people seem to forget that.
