how misseducted a lot of animal lovers here are.

I could show them a photo of a starving, mangey dog and say "dis dog have testing for bleach, and he is fed candy 2 see if it can be eated, we must stop this now!" (or say it with non sarcastic manner like "this is abhorrent how we in a cultured day and age test bleach on animal skin to see if it'll melt it, and worse, we need to see if candy is edible by nourishing a poor dog? can't we just use anecdotal evidence? Plus itsn't it common sense that you cannot live off of candy"

I agree with this completely. I've seen tons of people drawing someone on Oekaki for animal abuse and get tons of comments saying "WE SHOOD MKE DA PPL WHO HURT ANIMALS SUFFUR N SEE HOW THEY LIEK ETT " I'm like "Dude, stop whining about it and making up stuff that won't happen and actually do something to help the animals."
