I think I might need a hug, I'm confused now, I don't know what to do...

For several months now, I've been dealing with some personal issues going on and they have become gradually harder to cope with. I've been meaning to say something to this one friend of mine but it was never the right time. Once my semester change started, I had one of my classes with this friend. Though in that class, we discussed certain topics and some of them actually mentioning some of the issues I've been having. People have laughed and joked about it in class and I feel very awkward to say anything to her at this point. She is the only one I trust at the moment and now it seems like another problem has risen. Now, I don't know if I can say anything anymore and not telling this to anyone didn't help, it actually made everything worse. I don't want this to get even harder to cope with.
