Today, a very young girl who lives near me passed away. She was struck in a driveway she was dropped off at and died in the hospital.
I.. I can't really comprehend this properly.
She was only nine..
Oh that's awful. I'm so sorry to hear that. It's the worst when they are so young. It's hard to imagine it's true when accidents like this occur. But all we can hope for is that she is in a better place. I know everyone says that but it's the easiest comfort to us, and you should pay some respects to her parents maybe... like bake them cookies and give them your condolences. I really am sorry to hear that.

Police received a call about a group of males setting a dog on fire at an apartment complex. A witness told police someone poured lighter fluid on the puppy before setting him on fire and that they might have even tried to strangle the dog with a rope. Before police arrived, a woman tried to put out the flames while the crowd laughed, witnesses said.
The police arrived and the crowd scattered. Officers found the Labrador-terrier mix hiding behind an air conditioning unit a short time later. The puppy was then turned over to animal services who contacted Rescue Me -- a volunteer group who transported the puppy to an emergency clinic. The rescue group named the dog Justice after another dog that was burned three years ago.
Justice is estimated to be burned over 60 percent of his body on his legs, back and face, and died a short time later.
The story wouldn't of bother me much, because where I live we get plenty of Animal abuse stories, but when I read that a crowd formed and LAUGHED as the puppy was on fire, that sent me over the edge. It was wrong, and if they might have helped, Justice would've been alive today, but no, they had to act all "Cool" and laugh while Justice was burning in agony and running around trying to save itself.
I'll just-I'll just go cry in a corner now, or punch a wall, which ever gets in my way first ;x;

Stories like this make me absolutely SICK ;~; A few years ago, I came across a video on YouTube of a few guys putting a small cat. They proceeded to pour what I /thought/ was only water onto it. I assumed that they were only being mean and had no intention of hurting the poor thing, so I linked it my fiance. It was gasoline...you could hear the cat screaming inside the flaming cage all the way up to the point when it was finally still. The guys where laughing and cheering the whole time.
I couldn't believe such a video was even allowed on YT! Apparently, it wasn't, because the video wasn't there a few days later.
