Hey, hugs from me. I know how hard this hurts. My dog has seizures, and had had them for the seven years he's been with us. But what I've discovered when he has them is the more you pet them and talk to them in te calmest, most soothing voice you can, the more relaxed they are when they come out of it. My dog had a six seizures in a row once, and he seemed paralyzed for a few hours until he fully came out of it. The best thing you can do is lay on the ground next to them with a goal underneath them, and just pet their sides and back, and talk to them, telling them it's ok. It'll hurt, but they're so much more aware than we are, and they'll know if you're strong, then you can get through it. When she's done with the seizure, just cradle her. They'll never forget how much you helped them through that. It really is something that animals need, no matter the situation, and the fact you'll sit with them through that time of h--l ... It's amazing.
If you need to, PM me, ok? I'll talk with you.
Lots of love,
Нer

Pictures of my old cat and dog, pictures of deceased family.
I'm not sure why, but I do it.
Captain Rutabaga wrote:My mom and I have nasty fights everyday, every morning. It starts at harp practice, where eventually we get too "mom, your complaining" "child, I am not" "it's your fault I messed up the piece" "child, quit blaming yourself and blaming me" and eventually I get so frustrated that I leave the room, or, worst, burst into tears. I say worse because I rarely cry. Rarely ever, so no I cry more then ever. I know that this mostly my fault and I should stop and apologize to my mom, which I do, but we fight again. I lose sleep and, missed a test because I am so affected by this.
