So, I'm an overweight teenage girl. I always have been. Recently I've decided to change my lifestyle, and my goal is to lose my weight and tone up before university. It's a reasonable goal for sure. But what really makes me angry is when I'm taunted about my weight when I'm actually trying to lose it. It's so difficult when people laugh at you for trying but at the same time say "Lay off the fast food, fatty!" or something like that. People think that being overweight is so horrible, but when you actually try to do something about it, you're laughed at. What a double standard.
Hot summer nights, mid July
When you and I were forever wild
The crazy days, city lights
The way you'd play with me like a child

Will you still love me when I'm no longer young and beautiful?
Will you still love me when I've got nothing but my aching soul?
I know you will, I know you will
I know that you will
Will you still love me when I'm no longer beautiful?
