So apparently, despite that never, at any point, has mom ever shown any signs of knowing or wanting to know how to repair the cords of all those headphones the rats have chewed up, she's now suddenly a master technician and the first thing she says to me in the morning is that she wants the detached speaker that I immediately gave up on as per the usual and threw away, in a very irritable tone suggesting that it was sheer folly to assume no one here knew how to fix it.
If you could fix audio cords this whole time then why the hell have we been going out and replacing all our good dang headphones all these years? And what the hell is with being so snappy at me about it. I ALWAYS shorten and tape off cords when the rats ruin them, you know I always have, and you always thought it was a good idea.
If you've been looking up how to do this sort of thing lately fine, that almost makes sense, but don't chew me out for doing something completely normal, since you neglected to tell me when you started even trying to fix this sort of thing.
