I have a tub of peanut butter cups on the table next to my bed, so my dog is sitting at the edge of my bed and growling at the tub. It's the most adorable thing ever. And slightly pathetic, but she's stupid, so it's cute.

Normally hiccups annoy me. But my cat decided to lay on me while I have the hiccups. He looks sooooo annoyed that he keeps getting bounced by my revolting diaphragm but he REFUSES to leave. And this is cracking me up. XD

So, my mum and I are looking into adopting a dog.
Well, I've got my heart set on one, and I'm determined to at least try to work with her, to determine whether or not she'd be the dog for us.

My mum heard some not to good things about her, and was thinking that she might not be the dog we want, as Koda is unresponsive to most interaction, doesn't usually get along well with other dogs, was a potentially once upon a time a guard dog, and has issues with chasing cars.

I looked at the pros and cons, and I see a lot of pluses for the proper housing area, as we're rather secluded.

My mum decided that she was scared of Koda, but I decided that, no, we aren't just gonna walk away, because I seen something in Koda. Well, today, my dad and I went [as my mum didn't want to, and my dad is borrowing my grandparent's car for the week] to the adoption centre [My third time]. We found out some more information on Koda, and my dad agreed with my, along with Koda's trainer, that Koda needed time. Not just to get used to people, but to understand what attention and love was, because she'd never been in a home that had given her the love and attention that all dogs need.

Today, she was more interested in us, and remembered me. She gave me her paw, jumped up and sniffed at us, and was pretty interested in general. Usually, she just barks and stares at cars, but not today. Ah, what a lovely gift; patience and time is. Not to mention the part that my mum thought that Koda was mean, and scared of people. Heh, very, very wrong. She's nothing but a misunderstood dog that just needed some time. Exactly my argument towards what the rest of my family was saying.

And now, I'm bent on trying to help this dog. I've got the patience, and now, finally, the support of both parents, and probably a good friend [vet, animal specialist].

FINALLY. I HAVE SUCEEDED.
THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY.
