My online English class. I'm taking an English course for college, and they say to go to another site to do certain homework. This site is "teaching" us how to properly write... when they themselves can't properly write.

An example: "Put are between Mark and Sally."
It should be: "Put 'are' between 'Mark' and 'Sally.'"

That is how they actually type. No quotation marks.. and they're teaching us how to properly write. It's pretty much a hypocritical site

No, no.. the example's quotation marks are how they type (I just typed a random thing as an example because I couldn't think of one actual example they did).

When you say to insert a word you don't just put "insert word," you put "insert 'word'" (such as: Insert "vocabulary" between "this" and "test"). Every single time they say to insert something they just put "insert ___" with no quotation marks of any kind. They're even getting to the point they don't check spelling either, as they had "singl" in the place of "single."
