I read this REALLY freaky book the other day. Usually I don't read children's books or ones quite so easy, but this one caught my eye. I am a religous person, and this book went over the edge. It is called "Grace" by Morris Glietzman (spelling?). It is about a girl who is raised in a community of people who are extremly relgious. They have to cook/boil all foods touched by "outsiders" (basically this cult isolates themself from normal people), they cannot touch or talk to outsiders, they must go to chruch everyday and cannot do "sinful" things (swear, men cannot cook, women must always keep their hair in a bun).
It is about everything I'm against, except I am Catholic. What really hurts is when people think they're more important than others because of religion, or judge people because they have a religion. That's is why I don't like to visit this thread, because people are always complaining about how people say they'll go to hell or something.
