No pone will murder you for not beleiving in god, because chances are they don't either or are used to it.

Yes, that's the great thing xD. At least, most people won't kill you for it.

Niah, I have no idea about Colorado's religion ratings....but I live close to Boulder, so I don't get too harrassed about it. :)

It seems like the closer to the wilderness you live, the less you get harrassed about being atheist.

Haha, I could agree to that! XD Actually, Boulder is a pretty big Buddhism community...it's interesting, actually. I went to a bookstore in the heart of the city and when I was browsing the college/religion section upstairs, it was interesting to see that about 70% of their books were about Buddhism. I saw one small shelf for Christianity, which was an interesting.

Where I live, the bookstore has a massive New Age/Wiccan section (it's literally almost half of the whole store), a Buddhism section about a quarter of that size, and about three Christian books in the place if you include the one about Noah's Ark in the children's section. My mom's into New Age things, so she always goes straight for the Tarot cards and crystal dictionaries, my dad goes right for the latest Dalai Lama book, and I head over to Terry Pratchett's shelf. We spend a lot of time in bookstores. :D

Okay - people, really, must you pick apart everything I say? Ugh.

"No! I am not Prince Hamlet, nor was meant to be;
Am an attendant lord, one that will do
To swell a progress, start a scene or two,
Advise the prince; no doubt, an easy tool,
Deferential, glad to be of use,
Politic, cautious, and meticulous;
Full of high sentence, but a bit obtuse;
At times, indeed, almost ridiculous—
Almost, at times, the Fool."

People always want to express their opinions. *shrugs* And with such a...debatable topic, everyone likes to tell their own view.

@Lynx7 - Do you believe in Bigfoot? XD I kid, I kid...I just found out they did a MonsterQuest piece right by where I live about Bigfoot so I've been pondering whether or not to believe in Bigfoot even though I can't see him ;)

@asiandragon - I used to live in Manitou Springs which is pretty alternative but I think CO is like, 70% Christian or something wildly disproportionate like that. I'm actually going to go look it up XD

From Chianya to mods: I am transferring my pets to AiraSkylar (http://www.chickensmoothie.com/Forum/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=6259) since the pets will really help Aira (formerly Jhey) to create a CS helper organization. If you want to double check this with me, find me on Aywas at Chianya (#12264). As of March 21st, 2012, this account is permanently inactive - I just do not know how to delete it.

(lolz, I saw that episode! XD)

I'm not sure...like I said, living close to Boulder probably shifts it a bit....
