I think maybe the main reason I'm not having much troubles with it is because I am NOT sure if there even IS another girl.
It's just what I'm guessing, though I don't want to jump to conclusions.

I just think maybe, because I've noticed a girl message him on his phone, which wouldn't bother me even if we were dating, but the fact that it's a former hook up? I dunno... That's why I am sceptical.
I've been meaning to ask him about it but I don't want to seem... nosy? Clingy? Yeah.

He may be in a relationship with her, and cheating on her with you.
I mean I think you should really clear this up, I think

He wouldn't do that.
I've talked to him on his feelings about cheating before and he has very negative feelings towards it; he would never cheat.
He says, and I quote; "Why enter a relationship when you know you can't commit in the first place?"
or,
"What's the point in cheating when you can just break up with that person and go for the other one?"

So I really don't think he's in a relationship with the other girl, if in fact he is seeing her, which he may not be, he just thinks of it as two hook ups.

I'd rather be seen as someone who's nosy or clingy, than as 'the other woman'. I'd ask him about it. Part of any relationship, irregardless of whether or not it's a romantic relationship or one between friends and family, is based on trust and open communication. Knowing whether or not there is someone else is very important. I'd ask.

I will, because you are right. But it might take a week because I made him mad and I need t build things back up again before I go dwelling in deeper.
He's usually completely fine with me asking questions like that so.. It SHOULD go well, I think. I hope.

Just make sure with him that it's still wrong to date someone while with you- after all, you said he didn't want the title/responsibility, and hopefully it doesn't, but it might mean that he wouldn't view it as 'cheating' if he went out with another girl as well.

I had a very strong commitment to myself not to ever ask a guy out. Not that a girl can't do that... It just wasn't a role for me. But that changed with my boyfriend c: I had recently gotten out of a bad "hook up" or whatever you want to call it, and he had been out of a relationship for a couple of months. We were talking, and he demanded to know who I liked. I was incredibly hesitant to answer his question, but finally admitted that it was him. He didn't have a lot of response until 1 day later, when we talked on the phone for several hours. Our conversation finally ended with him saying, "I already made the commitment to you, but if you want something to happen, you have to make the first move. Think of all the dates we won't go on and how many times we won't kiss...." He was trying to persuade me to ask him out because apparently how flustered and embarrassed I get was cute to him. :U I was nervous though, so I still didn't ask. He finally said, "well that really sucks. I probably won't see you for a while, and then you'll just never ask!" Because we were about to enter a school break. I caved and said "_____, will you be my boyfriend?" He's like "Yes!" And I was so shocked that I actually said, "Really!?"
So, I broke my commitment to myself and asked. I assured him that I will NOT be proposing should we choose to get married, that is his job ^^ His response? "Well... I guess I'm never getting married!" Very funny -_-

You know... I don't remember. He kissed me the first time we officially hung out together (a date but a very casual one), totally took me by surprise. I think he did ask me to be his girlfriend at one point and it was cute... A while after we started seeing each other he did mention once or twice that he wasn't really looking for something serious but that he did really like me. I remember knowing not to get my hopes up about getting any sort of long relationship out of it, but also flattered because he did at some point say that although it wasn't what he expected or was looking for, that he really liked me and that I was the kind of girl you do right by and stay with, which was really nice.

We'll have been together 2 years on March, the longest relationship either of us has had. I think it was about time for him to experience a more long term and mature relationship, and while I was (and am) WAY less experienced in dating I think that also kind of allowed me to be more mature and understanding rather than dramatic. We've even somewhat lived together for a few months to have a short commute to my job and hope to live together as soon as our finances are sorted out.

But yeah, pretty sure he straight up asked me 'will you be my girlfriend'. I didn't realise adults did that, but at least some do! It was cute and made me all blushy and nervous though I think I hid it at least somewhat.

And then about six months later he said 'I love you' and of course I was a dolt and froze up. I was unprepared at the moment and also in the relationship for that to happen. I just wasn't ready to say it back but he didn't pressure me, though I'm certain I looked like a deer in the headlights when he said it to me because he specifically brought it up after and I felt so awkward.

Luckily now I'm a bit better with talking about my feelings!! Still a bit too private and need to stop holding everything in but eh, making progress.

Hehehe... For me, an inside joke turned into... well... not a joke.
(Background info: We use Skype as our sole means of communicating. LDR.)
We became really good friends. I called him my best friend. And then one day I told him I loved him in the most heterosexual way, because that's part of a bromance song. So he said it back, and pretty much we randomly said it and it became a HUGE inside joke. Then one day... it suddenly became serious. We weren't joking anymore. No one really asked anyone. It just... sort of happened. And I had been kind of flirting, sending stuff like *kisses cheek* because one day I was bored and just started doing it. And then, after a while of this, he... "kissed" me. (Via asterisks) and that was the last thing we said to each other for the rest of the day because it was kind of later and I honestly had no idea how to respond, so I just sat there blushing.
And then he finally got over his secretiveness and we called, and that turned into a video call and... The story continues~

Though we aren't really anything more than friends for the time being, I could feel as though like the tension between us was rising xP
There was this one time we were doing a bio lab, and it was just the two of us since our other partners were gone and then we got in trouble for talking too much. So I became sort of cold and shut off from him, and because I don't like disappointing people (yes, I'm a weakling xD) I couldn't help but cry (not like sobs or anything, just a few tears) and he saw me in the corner of his eye and just would not stop asking me what was wrong, and whenever I turned away, he would just keep staring. And when I stopped crying, I just looked at him and our faces were practically 3 inches apart. -_- And this other time, since he likes to tease me gently by calling me names (I do it as well because we both joke around a lot), I got sort of mad because he was offending me a bit and told him all the other names he called me as a retort. Then he became so sorry and stuff, and eventually told me he thought I was playing with his emotions.
And the day Thanksgiving break started he sent me a text telling me that he couldn't hold it in and that he had developed feelings for me, which drove me crazy because I'd had feelings for him since we'd started talking (on my birthday, no doubt). :3
I'm just glad that he's honest that he also has feelings for another girl, but he's liked her for a while, they are best friends but don't talk that much, so I suppose I'm okay with it. I just treat him as a friend and he does as well, though I hope in the future it becomes something more.

I have been texting my friend over break. She recently got into a relationship, so she has been helping me with my crush.

I have been having... some seperation issues... over break. Do you guys think that is normal?

I haven't seen P for 2 weeks now. When I texted my friend she said that she missed her boyfriend. So we had this long talk and she showed m this cute video she made when he came over to her house. They are so cute together.

She really encouraged me. Once I get to know P better, she told me to spill my feelings. And I am not afraid to do that anymore.

My Birthday is coming up soon. I hope that, by then we could be in a relationship. It's a bit of a long shot, since my Birthday is just the 15th of January. I think I can do it though. If I try hard enough.

Ahaha, that's quite some story! C: It's so cute~

My girlfriend and I met six months before we started dating. There was an instant attraction, but neither of us were ready to admit we were gay. So it took a little while to wrestle with that subject. But we got close to each other before we started dating, getting to know each other and flirting a lot. But then it got to the point where we couldn't really deny our feelings anymore. I'll never forget it. We went on our first real date at an aquarium, which I had never been to. Then took a walk around a park where we confessed our feelings. She still was wrestling with some stuff, and needed a little more time to officially ask me out. Two weeks later, she came over to my place and we went for another walk. Winded up in a really peaceful part of the cemetery, where there were some really beautiful trees and fountains and some nice benches. That's when we officially became a couple, when she asked me out. She was cute when she asked. XD

We were already in love, so the first time we said it to each other we both already knew how we felt. Then, a year after we met, she brought me back to the spot we first met and gave me my promise ring. At the time, in my state, gay marriage wasn't legal...but she asked me to be her 'forever girlfriend'. Six years later and gay marriage still isn't legal...but we're planning on moving to a state where it is legal and getting married by the end of this year. C:

Today is her birthday, and I feel so blessed to have her in my life. C: My soul mate winded up being another girl, lol! It was surprising, but I dare say it was the best surprise of my life. C:
