I got a balloon octopus. C:

I've been having a great day :3 My mom brought my German Shepherd over to the apartment so she could visit today (she won't live here full time for a few months until she gets training and we can afford the ridiculous $500 deposit). I feel bad because my mom, dad, and little brother are pretty lazy and NEVER walk her, and we don't have a fenced yard that she can run around in at their house. When she got here, she kept whining at the door and I knew it meant she wanted to go for a walk. I'm being cautious about having her over because I'm not sure what the apartment owners would think of that, not that she's doing any damage, so instead of walking her to the road and then down the sidewalk, I avoided the office building and we walked to the back of the complex and found that there is a HUGE empty field there! I took her leash off and let her run around as much as she wanted, the field was big enough and far away enough from the apartments that I wasn't worried at all that she'd run off. She's pretty good about that, we take her hiking almost every day in the summer without a leash anyways.

I love my dog so much, she's my child. I'm so happy she got to run around and wear herself out, she's taking a nap on the floor now and she keeps running in her sleep c:

We just found my sister's dog that has been missing for three days.
They just moved into a new house and while my sister was at work her boyfriend let him outside to go potty. He was supposed to watch him, but didn't.
The first day of him being missing somebody told my sister that he was seen being picked up by a person in a blue truck.
The next day there was no new news so we were getting worried that the person stole him.
We went out today to put flyers everywhere and about four hours into putting up flyers a lady called my sister.
She told us that she thought she saw him on a road a few miles from my sister's house. Which is scary because to get there he had to run down and cross a major high way here.
She said he was hanging around some fenced in dogs. She tried to call him into her car but he ran away because she was a stranger.
We drove down the road looking for him, but couldn't find him what so ever. We started going home but we decided to turn around to check the road one more time.
We saw a couple of dogs staring at something so we started calling his name. He ran out of a yard toward our car.
I opened my door and he didn't recognize us at first, but when he did he flew into the car. He was so excited to see us.
We're so happy he's back and somebody didn't take him.
His pads are torn a little, but he's getting lots of love. <3
I'm so happy because my sister has been crying herself to sleep over him.
When my grandma found out we found him she started crying.
There are so many good people who live here. When we brought him to my mom's work after we found him a girl there said she had seen our flyers about him so she went looking for him with her sister.
One lady at a feed store we went to was really worried about him and she doesn't even know him.
Thank goodness for all the kind people that were looking out for our boy. <33

I remember when I lost my dog and someone had found him and kept him. They tied him up on a SHORT lead.
He was literally bouncing up and down when he saw us. It was so precious. <3 <3
