I had the most incredible day today. The juniors and sophomores were testing and us freshmen had a half day where we would be listening to a speaker for four hours. Of course we were all complaining because we thought it was going to be four hours of sheer boredom, but we couldn't have been more wrong. The speaker was the most amazing speaker I've ever heard-he managed to keep 900-something teenagers completely enthralled for four hours. He talked about all forms of prejudice in a way completely different from anything I've ever heard before, and it was so amazing that I can't even begin to describe it so you'll just have to take my word for it. After the speaker finished we broke up into our advisory/study hall classes for discussion and this (really good-looking) guy was shamelessly staring at me the whole time, it was really rather cute cx
After school got out I rode my bike down to the harbor and it was simply the most gorgeous day ever; 75 degrees, clear sky, and the water was the purest, brightest blue. My entire evening was taken up by an awesome rehearsal for an upcoming performance, which I always enjoy doing. If you've read this far I applaud you XD
