I have a questio too, even if your a christian ( I am c: ) and you do somthing really bad and you sin, will God forgive you instantly?

No, not from what I've learned. You still have to repent and ask for God to forgive your sins, even if you are a Christian, you have gone through the process of getting right with God and have been baptized.

Yes, you have to ask God's forgiveness. Then he forgives you, and you try not to do whatever you did in sin.

Really, baptizing has nothing to do with the actual salvation process. It's just a way to publically tell people, "Yes, I've accepted Christ as my Savior, and I plan to follow him!" You were saved the minute you asked God's forgiveness and asked Christ to come into your life. The baptizm is just an outward expression of your faith. I was Christian for over 12 years before I was baptized.

Yes, Baptism is a outward proclamation. I was saved when I was 4 but was not baptized till I was 8.

I was baptized a few years ago, when I thought I'd gotten saved when I was much younger. However, I didn't realize until late last year that I never had been saved, and I got saved last January. So, I was actually baptized -before- I was saved. I'd love to be baptized again, but my mother insists that I don't need to do it.

I think God would appreciate if you got baptized again, but officially this time, to proclaim you've been saved. He still loves you either way though.

Well, I really want to, but the thing is, my mom doesn't know that I just recently got saved. She thinks I've been saved for years and I know she'd get mad if I told her that I wasn't, and that's what I'd have to tell her if I told her that I really wanted to get baptized again.

I have some advice: start reading from the New Testament. The Old Testament can seem boring if you're just getting started on the Bible, or if you're starting back after a while.
