Eh, some do, some don't. Just like some non-Christians do and some non-Christians don't. I don't think smartness, trying to do the right thing or listening to the teacher have much to do with being Christian or non-Christian, there's a tiny bit of the "morality comes from religion" sentiment in there, which isn't true.
We live in a fallen creation, the Earth is literally falling apart

Can you elaborate?

I'd say, that Human nature is outdoing itself. Trying to get better and better Technology? We're going to end up polluting the planet so badly that we either burn, or suffocate: take your pick.

Certainly. What I'm saying is we're going to chop down all the forests, and all that stuff, and we'll die, because the thing supplying our oxygen is the trees.

It's not the trees supplying the oxygen, the trees help filter it and make the air cleaner. But other than that I couldn't agree more.

I'm not a crazy nature freak, but I do think that we should all be better about cleaning up. :P Like recycling for one. It helps tons. And recycling plastics doesn't waste energy. Also, wind mills are rad c|

Actually, trees do supply oxygen. :P
Photosynthesis:
6CO2 + 6H2O -sunlight-> C6H12O6 = 6O2
Cardon Dioxide plus Water, in the presence of sunlight, yields Sugar and Oxygen

Plants photosynthesize, taking in CO2, releasing Oxygen. Animals breathe (respiration), taking in oxygen, releasing CO2.
Nice little balanced cycle~
Look! Here's a cute little diagram with a sheep! :D

Your grace abounds in deepest waters
Your sovereign hand
Will be my guide
Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me
You've never failed and You won't start now

So I will call upon Your name
And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise
My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours and You are mine
