I'm not blind, let's keep that clear. xD But anyways, I did go to the eye doctor a few months ago, and they said I don't have to wear them all the time, only when I have to see far away. Shouldn't you count your blessings? First of all, you don't have to wear them all the time, your eyesight isn't even all that bad. It's actually just like mine, I only have to use them when I have to see far away as well (but I rarely wear them because I can get the jist of it if I blink a bit and so they kind of just stay in my pencil pouch in case I need them...that and the fact that I got them in 5th grade and have grown out of them and don't want to wear them but can't afford new ones unless my eyesight gets worse and even then we can't really afford them, but we can't exactly put it off either). Secondly, YOU AREN'T BLIND OR ANYTHING! I mean, my mom is legally blind without her glasses, no joke, but she had a high fever and a few different things at the same time when she was little so she burned the retinas of her eyes. Now if God healed her eyes, THAT would be a medical miracle. We don't pray for her eyes to get better however, because why would we? She can see just fine with the glasses, why get them healed 100%? Besides, glasses protect your eyes better than the bare eye. I mean, if someone flung a rubberband (just an example) and you were wearing glasses, it would just bounce off the lens whereas if you weren't, it would hit you in the eye and if it hit you in the right spot, it could cause your eye to pop out of the socket (not that you really wanted to know that or care, but I'm trying to prove a point).
Point is, no one is perfect and you can't expect perfection in everything. God may not want us to be suffering, but I would think slightly-less-than-perfect eyesight is not a big deal. I suppose if a prayer means that much to you, fine, but there are worse things that God also has to deal with. He may be invincable, but why make Him have to cure slightly shy of perfect when someone else in the world has cancer and there's no cure, when somewhere else there's a crazy murderer taking helpless lives? Maybe He's just been busy, your slightly-less-than perfect eyesight is probably not a very big problem if you step back and look at what other things people have to deal with.
My apologies for being blunt and possibly misunderstanding this...:\

i understand what you're getting at, but i believe it's perfectly fine to ask for prayer about the minor things, i mean God is well... God! he never is overwhelmed, even if everyone were to ask for something at once! he may say yes, no or even wait. Paul hinted in his letter that he had a 'hinderance' that God just didn't want to heal him from, so yea basically point is there is nothing wrong with wanting to be healed 100%. you just have to be ready for whatever God responds with:)
