It's the best I can do, I've got a lot of trouble to deal with as well. :D
"remember how we forgot?
remember how no one ever really died in the wars we fought?
because each gunshot came from our fingertips
and we never really kept them loaded, just in case
because each enemy was a friend and none of it was about oil, religion or land
it was all just pretend;
remember how we used to bend reality
like we were circus strong men
like our imaginations were in shape then
like we were all
ninjas trained in the deadly art of "did not"
like "i totally got you!"
"...did not"
remember how we forgot?
"

Because, though he has a plan, its predestined in accordance to our choices and our prayers. (Hope that made sense...)

If this is really true, this is a medical miracle and the world needs to know, to be honest. If this is the case, your church probably qualifies for something like the million dollars from the James Randi Educational Foundation.

Why is this not on the front page of every newspaper and every scientific journal? We could all just go to your church instead of getting laser eye surgery.

Maybe wearing glasses is part of God's plan for you?
edit: ok now I've confused myself, why do we pray for things to change according to what we want when we know that God has a plan for everyone?

Well, first of all, I actually literally heard God tell me that he promised that someday he will give me perfect eyesight. And I kinda doubt that he wants me to have imperfect eyesight, I mean, what benefit will I get out of that? I actually don't think he wants anyone to have anything wrong with their body at all, you just have to pray about it and have faith. In other words, God doesn't want you to keep something that the devil gave you, God doesn't make you break a leg, the devil does, and if God wanted you to be broken, wouldn't he make you that way in the very beginning? God is a loving God. <3

And, it is not our church, it is God. :) God is limitless, and it could happen at any church, trust me. God doesn't just pick one church to do miracles, I mean, if you think about it, would that even make sense?

I'm sorry if any way this was complicated. xD I might be able to explain it if you ask a specific question.

Garrus- God wants us to ask. He wants us to ask things from him.

Well, I wouldn't really say the Devil *made* you break a leg or lose eyesight.
If I push someone out of a tree and they break their leg, could I just say,
"The Devil did it!" ?
XD No, I don't think that would really work.

Well, lol, you guys know what I mean. xD

And yes, Sam I agree with you, God wants to fulfill our needs and wants. As long as our wants are with God's will.

God's plan as in predestination? Beats me too. As far as I know Lutherans and Calvinists believe in predestination, and Lutherans differ from Calvinists in that they don't believe anyone isn't destined for damnation while Calvinists do.

Personally I'm not of the belief that God has a set plan for everyone's lives. I'd hope He'd trust us enough to make our own path in life, revel in the rewards, take the consequences, and be able to look back at the end and be proud of ourselves for making it.

No, it wouldn't. And I think the Devil has better things to do than be a minor inconvenience on the mortal coil.

I'd like to quote what I said earlier.

^ I agree with Kimmy. God has a plan for us, an open door that is inviting us to step inside. But it is our choice to make that move. And really, God knows what you want more than you know what you want. :) I experienced this myself when I was moving, I did NOT want to move what so ever. But I heard God tell me that I would love where I was moving to, of course I did not believe Him. When me and my family moved, I actually quite enjoyed it, but I didn't want to admit it. After a while I fell in love with the new state we lived in, it was the best decision we ever made! I still thank God for making us move there. <3 I became a stronger Christian when me and my family moved.
