Not most of them are, they where just the only clips I could find on Youtube XD I think the rocky-est one there is an upbeat Latino one for Easter.
I'm going to try to get our Christmas one on this computer. It isn't upbeat or anything, its this song-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2UojeLnllMExcept its song by a guy.
It went through the life of Jesus in two ways
We had one girl using dowel rods as the baby, and behind her had my brother acting the part of Jesus. The people (Me and the rest of the team) turned on him and crucified him, and than Mary runs around the stage with her broken sticks, witch symbolize Jesus's broken body.
People litterly where leaving the sanctuary in tears.
It was one of my favorites </3
We do it and then the Pastor does a sermon relating to our performance.
Also, I don't think I would say we are trying to compete with pop culture, since none of ours really... do XD I mean, the majority are done to hyms, and its not like where dancing around the stage; where creating scenes that go with the lyrics.
My church doesn't like trying to compete with the pop culture (We actually had a sermon about it like 2 weeks ago XD) and most of the Stix stuff isn't 'rocky' or anything. Besides maybe Gods Got an Army,, but we've never actually done that one XD
