Perhaps not too much.

After all, it's a good reminder that God wants us to have and enjoy sex in a God-sanctioned marriage. He made sex enjoyable for a reason, after all. :P

Ezekiel is probably one of my all time favorite OT books. It has some beautiful gems, my second most common quote (besides James)

Ezekiel 18:23 "Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign LORD. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live? "

and

Ezekiel 18:32 "For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent and live!"

(Both NIV 1984)

Thy teeth [are] like a flock [of sheep that are even] shorn, which came up from the washing; whereof every one bear twins, and none [is] barren among them.

Thy lips [are] like a thread of scarlet, and thy speech [is] comely: thy temples [are] like a piece of a pomegranate within thy locks.

Thy neck [is] like the tower of David builded for an armoury, whereon there hang a thousand bucklers, all shields of mighty men.

Yup. A bit too much.

When i read it i think of how different our compliments are now from what they where in Solomon's time. Imagine a guy going up to a girl and saying "Umm... (insert a girl name) you hair is like a flock of goats" lol That won't get him very far.

One of my favorite books is Proverbs.

I love Judges. It's like a high action packed book. We studied it in a school I was in,and it was awesome.

backyard of butterflies surrounded me
I fell in love with you

Have any of you tried to read Leviticus (sp) ? Its so hard to get through!

I think Psalms would have to be my favorite book.
