Hope everyone had an amazing Sunday at church. <3 Preacher's sermon this morning was on John the Baptist, and how they mistook him for the reincarnation of Elijah. But the one difference between John and Elijah is that John never performed a miracle. And tonight's sermon was on the end times, and how the two that never died (Enoch and Elijah) will preach in the streets of Jerusalem, and after they are killed, God will raise them after 4 days of laying in the street.

Please remember my school's janitor / just a plain awesome guy from church, Phillip. He's one of my favorite people. When he wears his white suit, he looks just like Colonel Sanders, and he has the sweetest spirit, and loves God so much. He was diagnosed with lymphoma (a type of cancer), and it is right under his jawbone. He will have those lymph nodes taken out, and then undergo chemo.

A bit of a selfish prayer request, but I have a Bible verse quiz tomorrow morning, first one of the year. ._.;; It's not very hard though, just Romans 10:9-13. Easy enough.

Well,before he did all the evoulution theory,he was a God fearing man. Then,the accident happened. Isn't it weird how after his daughter died,he started getting into it? Well,Science or Evoulution,whatever youy want to believe,I know that God created the universe. God is the almighty. He created the universe. It really isn't hard to understand.

Hey, did you guys ever notice that even Darwinism admits to a creator? It says that we evolved, so we had to be made (or make ourselves) from something, right? Isn't that wierd? Lol

Darwin struggled with his faith but yeah you got it! Evolution doesn't say 'we can from the primordial soup of chemicals' but it says 'from the first primitive life form, the processes of random mutations in the genetic code and natural selection have created more complex organisms, all life (we know of on Earth) is related'. It's less about the start (that's abiogenesis) and more about what happened after. Theistic evolution is the term to use when people believe God started the first life and designed evolution to happen and let it go, or he guided it to create humans. This is the official Catholic line, as the Pope defends theistic evolution. :)

Welp, monkeys and humans came from a common ancestor, our family trees split around 25 million years ago, and our family tree split from chimps, our closest living relatives outside our own species, around 7 million years ago, tis trufax. So then all of science and modern medicine and medication must be 'Loco in le coco', as you say XD. Here's a site that has all your questions, and all the answers with sources to back them up that'll help you or anyone else understand. :)

There's nothing to understand. I simply believe we as human beings cannot possibly evovled due to the complexity of us. I'm also a new earth creationist, so I don't believe earth is more than 6 or 7 thousand years old. *shrug* I'm not criticizing anyone's beliefs, just stating my own. But, hey, ad long as we accept Jesus, what's it matter?

Oh aye! Whilst I do appreciate that everyone's take on the world and the word of God can be different and relevant to their own lives, I'm a sad panda when people believe incorrect things :<. There's also the line if reasoning that if people don't understand evolution and accept it, then the people in charge might not either, and the research that needs funding won't get funded - I explained this better yesterday. Does that makes sense?

I mean, as long as we accept Jesus is fine to be a Christian and to be in the light of the Lord, and will serve us well in Heaven, but on Earth, for medicine and cosmology to get funding people have got to understand the science, at least on a basic level. I mean, if the world is only 6k years old, would you choose to fund my research into galaxy formation?

I wouldn't either way. XD Lol sorry, I just font find things. 0.0 I'm not very fundy. I really font care what others believe. I know its my job to help them along into a Christian path but the type of path is all them. I've already brought 5 people to Jesus, so I don't mind having friends who believe in evolution. It's purely their choice.
