What proof do they have, exactly? If denying it is a choice, then I will choose to deny it until I meet someone who was alive during evolution who can tell me it happened. They cannot prove anything unless they were around when it happened.
And the Christians who do believe that are also incorrect, in my own personal opinion. And my proof is that it says so in the Bible that he created the pieces of our world a day at a time, which goes against the BBT, which basically says that itty bitty atoms hit each other and BAM!!! we have an Earth. (I personally think this theory is much to unpredictable to be true. XP) And evolution goes against the Bible because it said that God created all the animals and everything. However, I understand that it is possible that some animals evolved from others, meaning that not all the animals we see today were created way back then. But the fact that humans didn't evolve from monkeys remains solid, as God created humans that day.

Of course I will pray for you! This is a wonderful oppurtunity the Lord has given to you.

Oh and yea,I definatly agree with you Steffi,if you are a christian, and you believe God made the Earth what are you taling about with evoulution? That is all a lie and it isn't true! Evoulution says we camer from a type of animal,BUT,God created us in his own image. I mean, seriously. It isn't that hard to understand. Just read Genisis!!!!!
Can you please not declare that Christians who accept evolution aren't 'true' Christians? It isn't your place to say. This point of view is called theistic evolution, and many Christians fall under that category.
Can you please learn to spell "evolution" and "Genesis"? And can you please stop calling evolution a lie, when it is a reality of the world we live in and a proven scientific fact, a theory which is backed up by substantial, abundant evidence? It is not a lie, therefore the statement you have made is false. It's very simple; it is the consensus that the scientific community have come to, i.e. a conclusion drawn from analyzing evidence from multiple fields in science. You don't have to accept evolution, you're free to reject/deny it as it's your personal right and your prerogative and that's okay, but it isn't okay to go around making false statements such as "evolution is a lie" and "evolution isn't true". If you are going to make such claims, back them up with evidence, by which I mean scientific papers that were published in secular journals. Do you have papers like that to support your assertion that evolution isn't true?
Evolution does not say we evolved from monkeys, it says we share a common ancestor with apes. This is true; we can tell it from anatomical, genetic and molecular evidence. Considering the similarities we share with apes, it isn't all that far-fetched. Human beings are also animals, by the way. We are categorized in Animalia. Scientific facts are not hard to understand. I don't think you have much idea of what "evolution says" considering you can't even spell it.Literal Genesis have been disproven by modern science. I have read Genesis, and I took it as an allegorical/symbolic narrative. Please stop calling this point of view a lie.

SteffiDaBeagle wrote:Garrus wrote:Dinosaurs did not co-exist with humans, dragons aren't real, the Earth is ancient, and animals evolved. Literal Genesis is false. If your opinion is true you should be able to prove it. See the glory in all the work God has done.
And honestly, if you're going to think that one part of the Bible is false, you may as well believe the entire thing is untrue. The Bible is all or nothing; you can't choose bits and pieces to believe. It doesn't work that way.
And another thing. I don't know if you're Christian or not, Garrus, but I have a few suggestions for you. If you are a Christian, you should probably start acting like one. Not believing in the Bible and going against the fact that God created the world you're living in is a big no-no in the Christian religion. And if you aren't Christian, then can you PLEASE stop spamming our thread with your scientific nonsense? I'm pretty sure none of us care, as none of us believe in the Big Bang theory and all that crap.
And as for dragons, I have to admit that I don't think they ever existed. Same with unicorns. I think it's a possibility that they existed, but very very very unlikely.
