Yes, I don't accept evolution. xD

NOW, I have a wonderful thing to say. I went to my very first Christian camp this past week, and I had SOOOOO much fun. I met lots of other Christians my age, and I got what a lot of people refer to as 'the fire of Christ'. I just feel like telling everyone about him. C: As well, a couple people brought friends to the camp, and by the end, most of them had accepted him as their savior. I was so happy for them! Now the world has about 10 more Christians in it, and every saved soul has the angels cheering, so ten is a hug victory. :3

Yes yes, I am confusing. I was just demanding proof to see if there was any at all. If there was, it made no difference; I still refuse to accept it happened or believe it happened or whatever. Unless God tells me, everything is invalid to me.

And as much as I've been defending it, any book besides Genesis. x_x That book is so boring; it's mostly names and ancestors and stuff. I really like Psalms and the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John).

My favorite book is...either Song of Solomon, Acts, or Jude. <3 John has a beautiful writing style though. Revelations is also one of my favorites. -prophecy geek-

Spur of the moment prayer request, ffff. My knee has hurt ever since I feel down the stairs 3 years ago, and it's hurting especially bad tonight. e_e I've drenched it in arthritis cream, have an ice pack on it, and took two ibreproferens, but it's still hurting from my knee all the way up my thigh. I'm back. :^)

Revelation is one...and I also like the book of John.
Apologies folks! I'm on a bit of a hiatus for I don't know how long.

Whatever happens, I'll leave it all to chance. Another heartache, another failed romance. On and on. Does anybody know what we are living for? I guess I'm learning, I must be warmer now. I'll soon be turning, round the corner now. Outside the dawn is breaking, but inside in the dark I'm aching to be free!
The Show must go on!

I think I owe this thread an honest explanation since it's borne the brunt of a rolling discussion this evening.

Garrus texted me at 2am to get an answer for your questions on big bang theory and the evidence supporting it, and I gave as comprehensive an answer as I could before collapsing back to sleep XD. This is important to us, not better we're "right and you guys are not allowed to believe the Bible ner ner ner" but because people's lack of scientific understanding really affects us and our lives in a detrimental way.

I'm starting my career in Astronomy on Wednesday, the study of the stars and specifically how galaxies have been formed from theBig Bang. To do this, I need funding, the scientific community needs funding. It needs funding for it's work in all areas, including biology. biology includes medicine, which again relies on evolution to put everything in context. If the people handing out the money didn't accept evolution and wouldn't fund stuff for it we wouldn't be able to for example, make a new flu vaccine every year or understand and research treatment for cancer. If the same people didn't accept the big bang and that the universe is 13.7 billion years old I wouldn't be able to fund my research.

But these people who decide the budgets are voted into office by you, the people, and there's a real danger that people who don't understand science, like Michele Bachmann, will get in in the US. I've already attended conferences in the UK where scientists have had to remind politicians to consult them on scientific matters. It's really scary.

Our agenda therefore is to ensure the generation are informed about science so the US and other western countries don't go backwards.

Feel free to pm me if you have any questions.

Also I love Revelations :)

Evening walks among the orchard,

She greets the dancing dusk,

A spirit of the air;

A lady, if you must,

Her dress a robe of twilight,

Her eyes awash with sun.

She places gems of water,

Along the grass, among

The apples fallen, withered

By her master, Autumn Sire,

Coloured in the lilac glow

Of Winter’s sharp satire.
