Hope everyone had an amazing Sunday at church! My preacher's Sunday evening series of messages are about Stephen and martyrs -- I love it. <3

Anyways, I'll pray for all you guys! My life is slowly calming down after the flood. Sadly, there's people worse off than we were that still need help. I'm hoping FEMA will be able to help and send money. We've gutted the house I used to live in, since it had 4 inches of mud and sewage in it. Gross stuff man. We've replaced the floors, paneling, and are working on the bathroom and kitchen now. My mamaw will be moving back in there. I have my own room again! It's such a blessing ahaha! ;3; My mother was married the Sunday night before last, so we've moved into her husband's trailer. Is it called being paranoid if it rains of the night, I stick my foot on the floor every other minute to make sure there's no water? Waking up with 3 feet of water in the house must have affected me more than I thought. >>;

...I really don't like having a man in the house, but whatever makes mom happy.

I have a pressing matter weighing on my heart. It saddens me to say that my grandfather has left us. I know he is in a better place, but it gives me no comfort knowing he is gone. All day a night I think about him, and I'm upset that I have my whole life to live, and he won't be there to see it. he didn't get to see so many things that I wanted to show him. I wish he was still here.

First, I'm very sorry for your loss.I know you probably hear this a lot, but your grandfather didn't really leave. He is still with you, and always watching, I'm sure. All that's happened is that his body got old and his spirit had to move on to be with God and Jesus and other loved ones in Heaven.I know what you feel. You want to talk to him, hug him, laugh and do all other physical things. But you can still talk to him, he might even reply. I read a book recently that really gave me small comfort when someone I loved passed away. Its called 90 Minutes in Heaven. You should read it.

And it also hepls me not to say or think the word "died" or its many variations. I always try to think "passed away" or "passed on" because that's what really happened. He didn't go away forever, he didn't die, you will always remember him, I'm sure, and I'll bet he's waiting for you in Heaven.
