Nothing. I just hate the way they portray them as stupid.

Aw what annoys me is that many foreign people call it a 'British accent' when what they mean is English. xD There is no British accent. England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland are all distinct countries with distinct accents and cultural backgrounds thankayou very much. ;;

Well, then maybe I'm just not watching the right programs because I just haven't seen any shows that make British people posh or snooty, or anything like what your saying.

well, other than Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds. But that's a cartoon, and I'm not even sure if one of the characters is British or not.

Anyway, I just closed the oekaki program when I just managed to draw a half finished but decent lineart so far. DX

edit; I'm American by the way.

Ever looked up the Scottish stereotype? ;D It sure beats the posh English stereotype.

Comedy stereotypes a lot of things, and I'm presuming it's a comedy programme as that's the only genre of film/programme I've saw that's used stereotypes so typically. I find it hilarious, personally, when people ask me if I'm ginger and if I have a kilt in my wardrobe. XD

Well lol obviously but I wasn't going to get into the regional diversity within each country when most people have yet to distinguish the whole countries from each other. Not to mention the fact that typically there is no 'American accent' either what with all THEIR regional differences, but you can't really expect anyone from outside a country to know those differences...I wouldn't expect an American to know about Mancunian, Brummie, Geordie, Cockney, RP, Estuary etc accents, whereas I think knowing the differences between the five countries is reasonable. Yea, it IS much worse, but I'm not Scottish, so ya, I DON'T like it when people make fun of Scotts, (unless it's my maths teacher, idiot) but I find it more offense when it's English.

I sound different than the people who live a hour away from me. XD Here, you can tell what state group someone is from by how they speak.
